Prerequisites and Enrollments

Enroll anytime.

All of our programs are available on an open enrollment basis. You don’t have to wait for a new session or semester to begin. Begin and progress through your studies independently, at your own pace. A low initial payment gets you started right away. An active email address is required for online programs and strongly recommended for correspondence programs.

Master’s Degree

Master’s degree candidates enroll in and pay for one semester at a time with a separate enrollment agreement. You must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college or university, with a minimum GPA of 2.5, supported by official transcripts. No GMAT or GRE exam score is required. Access to a PC that can read CD-ROMs; MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel software; Internet access and an active email address are required. You may access your first course, the Orientation, shortly after your enrollment is processed. You must receive a passing grade on this course, and transcripts must be approved, to maintain your student status.

Bachelor’s Degree

Bachelor’s degree candidates enroll in and pay for one semester at a time with a separate enrollment agreement. You must have successfully completed an accredited high school diploma program or earned your G.E.D., supported by official transcripts. Homeschooled students must provide a portfolio. You may access your first online course shortly after your enrollment is processed. Access to a PC that can read CD-ROMs; MSWord, PowerPoint and Excel software; Internet access and an active email address are required. We must receive your transcripts to maintain student status.

Associate Degree

Associate degree candidates enroll in and pay for one semester at a time with a separate enrollment agreement. You must have successfully completed an accredited high school diploma program or earned your G.E.D., supported by official transcripts. Homeschooled students must provide a portfolio. As soon as you are accepted you may begin your course work. We must receive your transcripts in order to maintain your student status.

Career Courses

Most of our career diploma courses have no educational or experience prerequisites. However, some courses may require basic knowledge of or familiarity with a particular skill area – such as math, computers, using hand tools, etc. These are outlined in each course description.

High School

Diploma candidates must be at least 14 years of age. Those under age 18 must provide proof of promotion to the 9th grade and be enrolled by a parent or guardian. Due to the independent nature of study in our programs, we cannot enroll students who have previously taken special education courses for academic reasons.

Online curriculum:

Students must have internet access and a PC with an Intel Pentium/Celeron or AMD family processor, with at least 500 MHz speed; 233 MHz; Windows 2000® or XP; Microsoft Office 2000®, XP or 2003 with Word, Excel and PowerPoint software; 128MB RAM; 20GB hard drive; 56.6 kps modem; super VGA (800×600) monitor; sound card; Internet access; Java 2 Runtime Environment (free download available); Flash Player 6 (free download available) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download available).

Students will be given access to our exclusive online learning system to immediately begin their first course. A confidential username and password lets you start a lesson, continue studying or take an exam from any PC. All exams are submitted online. Exam results are promptly posted and maintained in your personal online gradebook and are accessible any time. In addition, you will receive teacher remarks and advice by email or instant message.

Correspondence curriculum

Students can begin studying as soon as they receive their first set of course materials by mail. They may submit exams when they are ready.

Once you receive your subject review form, you may change assigned "elective" courses either online or by mail.
